Privacy Policy

The short version

Every calculator on this site runs entirely in your browser. When you type a number into a field, that number never leaves your device or gets sent to us — there's no server processing your salary, your debts, or anything else you enter. We don't require an account, a login, or an email address to use any tool on Cash Updates.

What we do collect

Like most websites, our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically logs basic technical information for every visit — your approximate location (derived from IP address), browser type, device type, and which pages you visited. This is standard web server activity logging, used only to keep the site running reliably and to understand overall traffic patterns. We don't use it to identify individual visitors.

Cookies and advertising

If this site displays advertising (via Google AdSense) or uses analytics tools now or in the future, those third parties may set cookies in your browser to measure performance or personalise ads. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings, or manage cookie preferences generally through aboutads.info.

Affiliate links

Some links on this site are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you click through and make a purchase or sign up for a service — at no extra cost to you. This never affects the figures our calculators show you; the tools give you the same numbers whether or not you ever click an affiliate link.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have rights over any personal data organisations hold about you. Since we don't collect or store personal data through the calculators themselves, there's generally nothing tied to you individually for us to provide or delete. Children's privacy

Cash Updates isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy occasionally, particularly as advertising or analytics tools are added. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent change.
